Privacy Policy
Apple Developer Guidelines Compliant
CalcHub is designed to protect your personal data. This application operates entirely offline, does not collect, track, or share any personal information, and does not require an internet connection or account creation.
1. Data Controller
CalcHub is managed by the CalcHub Development Team. Since we do not collect, process, or transmit personal data to external servers, we do not operate as a standard cloud data processor.
2. Data Collection & Processing Disclosures
In accordance with Apple App Store Review Guideline 5.1.1 (Data Collection and Storage), we disclose the following details:
- No Account Creation: CalcHub does not support or require user registration, profiles, or login accounts. Thus, no personal identifiers (such as names, emails, or phone numbers) are gathered or linked to you.
- Calculation History Logs: All equations, values, and calculations are stored locally on your device via iOS SwiftData frameworks. This database is sandboxed in accordance with Apple iOS security rules and is never synced, backed up to external servers, or accessible to the developers.
- Local Settings: App preferences (such as Dark Mode toggles and decimal precision picker values) are stored locally using the standard UserDefaults framework on your device.
3. User Data Deletion and Control
Apple policy mandates clear guidelines for deleting user data. In CalcHub:
- Since all data is offline, you have complete control. Tapping the "Clear All" button inside the Calculation History page deletes all cached history entries permanently from the device.
- Deleting the CalcHub application from your device immediately removes all local UserDefaults settings and SwiftData history databases permanently.
4. No Third-Party Analytics and Advertisements
CalcHub does not incorporate third-party tracking Software Development Kits (SDKs), advertising networks (such as AdMob), or product analytics services (such as Firebase or Flurry). No user activity is monitored or shared with third parties.
5. Children's Privacy (Guideline 5.1.4 Compliance)
CalcHub does not collect personal information from children under the age of 13. Since the app gathers no data from any users, it is fully compliant with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and GDPR children's guidelines.
