Quite Addiction (“we”, “us”, or “our”) believes that overcoming substance, nicotine, alcohol, or behavioral dependency is an intensely private and personal journey. Your reflections, urges, mood logs, and milestones should belong only to you.

We do not collect, transmit, store, monetize, or broker any personal identity, contact details, or behavioral logs on remote servers. We have no technical access to your entries, and we will never sell user information to third parties or advertising brokers.

All data you enter into Quite Addiction is stored exclusively within a sandboxed local database on your Apple hardware using Apple's native SwiftData framework.

• Habit Calibration: Your chosen habit profile name, baseline daily consumption, and financial parameters.
• Craving Logs: Urge timestamps, 1–10 intensity scores, resisted status, triggers, and physical context.
• Mindset & Journal: Therapeutic CBT reflections, 5-state mood logs, gratitude notes, and custom focus tags.
• Milestones: Streak counts, avoided units, avoided costs, and curriculum module completion checkmarks.

This data never leaves the local sandbox of Quite Addiction unless you explicitly initiate an export or share action using the standard iOS system share sheet.

Quite Addiction contains zero third-party advertising networks, zero tracking cookies, and zero behavioral telemetry SDKs (such as Google Firebase, Meta / Facebook SDK, Adjust, or AppsFlyer).

We fully adhere to Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT) guidelines. We do not track your activity across apps and websites owned by other companies, upholding the clinical standard of data minimization.

If you grant permission for daily motivational check-in reminders, notifications are scheduled and dispatched entirely on your device using Apple’s local UserNotifications framework (UNUserNotificationCenter).

No push notification tokens, device identifiers, or IP addresses are communicated to an external server. You can modify or revoke notification permissions at any time via iOS Settings > Quite Addiction > Notifications.

If you have Apple iCloud Backup enabled on your iOS device, your local SwiftData database may be included in your encrypted device backup managed by Apple Inc. in accordance with Apple’s iCloud Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

We do not operate any proprietary cloud servers, and we have no cryptographic keys or technical capability to access your Apple iCloud backups.

Because all data resides exclusively on your local hardware, you maintain unconditional sovereignty over your information at all times:

• Individual Editing: You can edit or delete individual journal entries or craving logs at any time directly within the app.
• Instant Database Wipe: You can permanently delete all saved streaks, reflections, and craving entries with a single tap via Profile > Reset All Progress Logs.
• App Deletion: Removing Quite Addiction from your device instantly and permanently deletes its sandboxed local database and all associated records.

Quite Addiction is an educational habit-tracking and mindfulness tool. It does not collect or process Protected Health Information (PHI) under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), EU GDPR health provisions, or equivalent frameworks.

The app does not integrate with electronic health records (EHR) or external clinical healthcare portals.

Quite Addiction is rated 17+ on the Apple App Store and is intended solely for adults seeking to overcome or manage addictive substances and behaviors. We do not knowingly solicit, collect, or store data from children under 13 years of age.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to maintain alignment with Apple App Store policies or iOS technical frameworks. Any revisions will be published on this webpage with an updated “Last Updated” date.
